24/02/09: Business Building: The Ecological Way

"Helping entrepreneurs to grow their business" is the theme of an event to be held on the 4th March at the Eco Business Centre on Clifton Moor, York, from 12noon to 2pm.

Helping entrepreneurs to Build their Business. The event is in 3 parts:

  • Business survival tips by Alan Brown of Brown's Wealth Management and Norman Whyte of the York Business Advice Centre
  • Speed networking, each participant will meet up to 20 other entrepreneurs who want to do business with them
  • Open networking over a buffet lunch

Event organiser, Sam Lyth said "There are many opportunities to build business today. Entrepreneurs recognise that one of the best is through networking and personal recommendation. This event gives Alan and Norman the opportunity to share the benefits of their experience to the entrepreneurs of today. They will offer vital encouragement to participants to help them to expand their networks and ensure that they are able to reap the benefits of their own hard work."

Tom Wycks of TW Digital Media has given some of his valuable time to assist the organisers. Tom runs a new media business based at the Eco Business Centre, he met Alan one year ago and says that he has reaped great advantage since Alan introduced him to the treasures of personal networking.
