"Excellent event," "very interesting," "very enjoyable," "a good way…. to maximise people meeting people."
Just some of the comments from the participants at a Business Building seminar and speed networking event held at York Eco-Business Centre on 4th March.
Organisers, Wealth Manager, Alan Brown, York Business Advice Centre Chief, Norman Whyte and owner of new business TW Digital, Tom Wycks, gave a brief presentation on how they can help entrepreneurs build their business.
Then it was on the starter's block for speed networking. All the attendees were able to meet 15 other participants in a breathless 40 minute session. This was thirsty work, so everyone stayed for a more relaxed open networking session over lunch.
About a quarter of those present were new to networking. They were delighted by the opportunities to meet new people and are all looking forward to attending the next event.
